Exploring New Ground as the Pioneer at the Center of Modern Korean Theater

The Theater Program has the longest history and tradition in Korea and continues to pave the way as a pioneer. The curriculum emphasizes practical education by inspiring imagination and forward thinking. The program provides practical experiences so illicit active self expression and assists to grow to be mature artists with empathy. Students participate on all facets of theater to build virtue as an artist. They are encouraged to delve into the traditional and modern practices; combine art and science: and merge the spirit with craftsmanship.

DANCE

Realizing the Dream to be a World Class Dance Artist

The mission of the Dance Program is to foster professional dancers through practical education of Korea’s traditions and contemporary styles. The Dance Program will nurture dancers, choreographers, and dance educators to spotlight Korean dance domestically and abroad. The students will be taught theory so that they can logically analyze Korea’s spiritual identity in dance. Internships are conducted so that students can be aware of the latest trends of the dance field.

ACTING

Fostering Professional Artists who are Active Collaborators

The Acting Program aspires to foster professionals who possess the ability to work in various media including theater, musicals, motion pictures, and television. The program cultivates actors who actively utilize their imagination and creativity in the collaborative process. The multi-faceted education provides professional and practical training that reflects the field. In the performance area, students are trained in vocalization, speech, singing, acting, and movement for various types of live performing. In addition, student actors can explore acting roles in film, television, and other emerging media fields. There are also opportunities for internships with professional companies, masterclasses with teaching experts. Students who want further their training can apply to Bachelor of Fine Arts Program.
